Today we are gonna talk about of one of the BASIC pieces in our CLOSET.  If you are in FASHION you probably own more than ONE, if you are not in the fashion INDUSTRY I’m sure that you own at least one CLASSIC white SHIRT. 

Hoy vamos a hablar de una de las prendas básicas en nuestro armario.  Si eres una mujer que trabaja en el mundo de la moda probablemente tienes más de una, pero si no trabajas en la industria estoy segura que de igual manera tienes asi sea una camisa blanca clásica. 

Here it is a couple interesting EVENTS about the WHITE shirt:

• The white shirt made its FIRST public aparece worn by the queen MARIA ANTOINETTE in 1793. 
• By the end of 19th century it became a SYMBOL of wealthy
• In the twenties COCO CHANEL introduced a masculine STYLE: pants, loose white SHIRT and cardigan. 
• The shirt became a trend thanks to the HOLLYWOOD stars like, Katherine Hepburn who wore it in 1938 in the movie HOLIDAY.  In the 50’s by my favorite actress AUDREY HEPBURN in the movie Rome Holiday.  JULIA ROBERTS work an oversized shirt in the movie PRETTY woman. 
• In the 90’s for the 100th anniversary of VOGUE US magazine the nine TOP models wore the same GAP white shirt.
• In the past years designers like Carolina Herrera, Alberta Ferretti and Stella McCartney proposed chic and simple variations of a WHITE shirt. 

Acá les dejo algunos datos curiosos sobre la camisa blanca:

• Su primera aparición fue en 1793 prenda lucida por la reina Maria Antoinette 
• A el final de la década de 1900 se convirtió en símbolo de lujo
• En los 20’s la diseñadora Coco Chanel propone un estilo masculino: pantalón camisa blanco suelta y cardigan. 
• La camisa blanca se convirtió en tendencia gracias a las estrellas de Hollywood como: Katherine Hepburn quien lucio en 1938 esta prenda en la película Holiday. En los 50’s fue lucida por mi actriz favorita Audrey Hepburn en la película Vacaciones en Roma y la actriz Julia Roberts uso en los 90’s una camisa blanca oversized en la pelicula Pretty Woman. 
• En los 90’s para el aniversario 100 de la revista Vogue America las 9 modelos top de la época lucieron en la portada una camisa blanca de la marca GAP.
• Diseñadores como Carolina Herrera, Alberta Ferretti,  Stella McCartney  entre otros han propuesto en pasarela esta prenda con un diseño simple, chic y con variaciones únicas. 

I’m wearing an oversized – TAILORED in the waist white shirt from ZARA that I bought on sale for $20. 

Estoy luciendo una de camisa blanca que compre en rebajas en zara por $20, es una prenda oversized pero de silueta ajustada en la cintura.
